My client offers the largest ranges of genuine recycled, and re-milled timber and industrial salvage in Australia. Their products are sought out by home-renovators, builders, interior designers, furniture makers and artisans alike.

The role is considered an integral part of the company's continued success and growth. Duties include:

• Communication with a range of customers, including architects, builders, renovators, interior designers and furniture buyers.
• Liaising with the wider company, on incoming goods, orders and stock control
• Stock receipt and dispatch
• Coordination of deliveries / logistics with external freight businesses, including interstate deliveries
• Inventory control
• Housekeeping and warehouse maintenance
• Management of 6 internal staff - including hiring, training, performance reviews, rosters, and work allocation
• Every second Saturday morning work

You will work closely with floor staff and administration staff. You will liaise with external suppliers and sub-contractors. Through deliveries and dispatch activities you will also be liaising directly with customers which may include unloading of materials.

The successful applicant must have proven skills in the following:

• Warehouse organisation and management
• Dispatch activities and customer deliveries
• Forklift licence
• Be organised, proactive, hard working and hands on
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety as it relates to warehouse operations and building sites
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
