We are seeking a passionate Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. Previous experience in a Supervisor role in a Hotel is essential.

The role is ideally suited to an experienced leader with excellent customer service skills and a passion for working with people.

The position will be responsible for managing and leading the housekeeping team, delivering the housekeeping benchmarks and overall housekeeping operations in accordance with our high quality standards.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to ensure that your team is cleaning and maintaining the rooms and public areas to the highest standards. In addition you will be responsible for;

• Establishing and implementing operating procedures and standards
• Human resource management skills, such as hiring, rostering and evaluating performance
• Training and mentoring your team
• Planning and coordinating the activities of the housekeeping team
• Inspecting all assigned areas to ensure standards are met and maintained
• Setting and adhering to budget controls
• Handling ad-hoc administrative tasks
• Working closely with all departments to ensure that the hotel is presented well.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Professional attitude
• Previous experience working in housekeeping
• Previous supervisor or manager experience is an asset
• A Hands-on approach to work
• Strong customer service skills
• Have your own transport and be flexible with working hours
