About Clearpond:

We are Australia's largest distributor of garden pond, water feature, lake management & fountain technology products with exclusive distribution rights for many world leading leading brands. These include OASE, Firestone, Otterbine & Universal Rocks. Our main customers are garden centres, irrigation outlets, aquarium stores, landscape contractors, local councils, golf courses and landscape architects. We have offices and warehouse in Melbourne and Perth and are currently expanding our reach into new locations and new sales channels.

About the job:

We are seeking a storeman for our Melbourne warehouse to perform the following key tasks:

• Pick, pack and despatch daily orders to dealers all around Australia.
• Unload and receive containers from overseas suppliers.
• Occaisionally run deliveries or pickups using the company van or truck.
• Answer dealer phone enquiries.
• Maintain the stock management system.
• Process warranty claims.
• Keep the warehouse tidy and the stock efficiently organised.
• Have the ability to work autonomously.

Job pre-requisites:

• A current manual drivers licence and reliable car.
• A current forklift drivers license & a minimum medium rigid truck licence.
• High reach forklift experience a must.
• A good command of English.
• Ability to understand and mange technical details of products.
• Be physically fit to work in a warehouse environment.

Job experience and skills:

• At least 3 years warehousing experience.
• Knowledge of stocktake and stock management processes.
• Be self-motivated with good attention to detail.
• Experience in the pond, aquarium or irrigation industries an advantage.
• Basic computer skills plus experience with Microsoft Office and stock management systems.

Job conditions:

• Warehouse opening hours 8:30am to 5:00pm.
• Modern warehouse with reliable equipment.
• Parking available onsite.
• Lunch shops within 5 minutes drive.
• Overtime may be available at various times between October and February
