About the Role

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, your permanent, full time role is to lead and manage the VIC business unit and sales team managing customer relationships across residential aged care, public and private hospitals and home care providers.

You will provide leadership to achieve maximum productivity and growth coupled with developing and executing strategies to create new business opportunities and grow the existing customer base.

  • Provide inspirational leadership and effective management of the VIC based sales team;
  • Retain and grow sales and product ranging with existing customers by expanding the use of Flavour Creations dysphagia, nutritional and foodservice products in all channels;
  • Direct responsibility and accountability for managing nominated VIC/TAS based national and state-based key accounts;
  • Develop and manage relationships with nominated national and state-based healthcare and medical consumable distributors;
  • Develop and manage relationships with nominated national and state-based foodservice distributors;
  • Deliver agreed sales volume, revenue and margin growth objectives
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities in VIC/TAS across aged care, hospitals and home care.
  • Explore markets outside of traditional channels to seek new revenue streams

About you

The successful candidate will likely demonstrate:

  • Significant experience in leading, managing, mentoring and training a sales and account management team across multiple healthcare channels in VIC;
  • Significant state and national key account management experience – preferably in VIC across residential aged care, public hospital, private hospital and home care providers. Experience in pharmacy also valuable;
  • Minimum 3 years+ experience in a similar state leadership role
  • Established network across healthcare channels in VIC (Dieticians/Speech Pathologists);
  • Established network and experience working with healthcare and medical consumables distributors;
  • Clinical background is highly desirable, in addition to a strong sales/commercial background
  • Highly driven, results oriented with a proven track record in delivering sales and revenue growth;
  • Influential leadership and customer relationship management style who can build strong customer and internal relationships;
  • Strong problem solving ability and analytical skills;
  • Skilled relationship builder and negotiator at an executive level;
  • Skilled and experienced in public speaking and presenting;
  • Have experience using CRM Systems and Microsoft Office;
  • Possess a current and clean drivers licence and reliable vehicle;
  • Willingness to undertake some domestic travel.
