The Role

This will be a Senior Accountant position with high client contact responsibilities. It will be up to you to provide a high level of customer care to your clients and therefore will be a lot of relationship management as well. You will need to have very strong experience within Public Practice and a very good understanding of Business Services and Tax.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, for various entities
• Preparation of BAS's and IAS's
• Liaising with clients and Statutory Authorities
• Assisting with the preparation of tax planning and other general accounting advice
• Day-to-day contact with clients
• Maintaining KPIs

About You

• 3 - 6 years’ experience within an Australian Public Practice
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Commenced CA or CPA
• Experience with Xero, MYOB AE software, Class Super, MYOB client software and MS Office
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Professional manner and common sense approach to work
• Pride themselves on their attention to detail
• Energetic and team oriented
• Strong desire to progress
