Why this role?

In Australia and New Zealand (KEA) we provide maintenance services across a wide range of sectors., however, at times when maintenance is simply not enough, an upgrade may be required.

We currently have an opportunity to join our Tendered Repairs business (TRB) working in our South West region located in Melbourne. You will work within a customer orientated and highly motivated team. You will proactively target clients in conjunction with field staff and Sales Representatives to support business initiatives, drive sales growth and provide superior customer service to support budgeted growth. This role will suit a results driven salesperson who has the desire and focus to find and close new business opportunities in a high volume environment.

What will you be doing?

  • Reporting to the Sales Manager.
  • Proactively target clients across the region – spending a large portion of your time out with, and supporting Field Technicians and Sales Representatives.
  • Performing cold calls (phone and in person) and mail drops – to focus on developing new business.
  • Performing administration tasks and update all records in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Estimating tendering and quoting small and large project submissions and actively following up.
  • Ensures the contents of the customer order received are in line with the KONE negotiation process, including terms and conditions, quality and safety.
  • Understand the customer needs and requirements to capitalise on all lead opportunities, orders and contracts to meet sales and pricing targets.
  • The ability to achieve agreed individual KPI’s.

  • A passion for sales, with a proven track record and a strong customer focus.
  • Previous experience in a similar industry.
  • The ability to build rapport and resolve customer issues in a constructive manner.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Highly motivated with ability to work as part of a team.
  • Competent computer skills.
