Yamaha, the Australian market leader in premium home audio is seeking a Sales and Admin Coordinator for its Audio Visual Division. Reporting to the Product and Sales Support Manager, this role will provide support to the Sales and Marketing teams from the National Sales Desk.

This position is responsible for utilising available resources and communication mediums to ensure delivery of superior service to dealers, consumers, and the AV management team.

Key responsibilities for the Sales and Admin function are:

  • Prompt and efficient sales order processing ensuring the utmost accuracy at all times
  • Assist dealers and consumers regarding stock availability, order status, pricing, product inquiries, warranty details, service centre locations, freight and delivery inquiries
  • Product promotional material distribution
  • Assist with the preparation of sales campaigns
  • Assist with providing detailed reports to management
  • Support the activities of Sales and Marketing teams when required
  • Communicate with all relevant corporate departments (Logistics, Accounts, Service) to expedite positive outcomes for dealers, consumers and Sales Managers
  • Provide feedback from dealers or consumers to the relevant departments
  • Attend dealer conferences and internal sales meetings, promotions and shows

Required competencies:

  • Experience in consumer electronics or related technologies with sales experience would be well regarded
  • A keen interest in audio and home theatre
  • Ability to understand product manuals and grasp technically-written instructions
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and workloads
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to enter high volumes of data with absolute accuracy
  • Be able to work both in a team environment and independently with a flexible, mature outlook
  • Ideally experience in a similar sales focused role
  • Computer literate: understanding all Microsoft Office programs (specifically Excel)
  • Able to adapt to a forever-changing and challenging environment
