The Athenaeum Club, one of Melbourne's most prestigious establishments, is seeking a Casual Room & Laundry Attendant to join the Housekeeping Team.

You will be responsible for servicing the member accommodation rooms ensuring they are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation. You will also assist in the laundry by sorting bed linen, restaurant linen and towels for washing, drying and pressing, ensuring all the Club's linen needs are met.

The successful candidate will

• Have excellent organisational and time management skills
• Have the ability to work flexible hours
• work well in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision
• Perform all duties with a keen eye for detail, accuracy and speed
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be in good health and physically fit to meet the needs of the role

This is a casual role and shifts will depend on varying business levels. Good availability will be required.

Previous experience in housekeeping and a commercial laundry in a 4 - 5 star hotel or club is desired.
