The Role

Based in Sydney’s CBD and reporting to the General Manager of the store this newly created role requires a dynamic and innovative leader to be responsible for driving the store's productivity and service experience to the highest possible standard. The Retail Manager will spend 80% of their time on the floor; you will be a key partner to the General Manager and will be leading a dedicated team of up to 70 experienced brand ambassadors, including a number of Product Sales Managers to ensure high level customer service, driving sales and growth are instilled at all times. Other responsibilities will include store presentation and visual merchandising, promotional activities, workplace safety, team compliance, reports and budgets and sales forecasting.

Skills & Experience

For this role we are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual with 4 years plus experience leading large teams in multi-branded environments with:

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and strengthen strategic relationships
• A highly commercial, innovative approach, ability to identify opportunities
• Competitor awareness
• Experience in coaching and developing high performing teams
• Understanding of the luxury retail environment

Your Background

To be considered for this position you must possess recent solid experience in a multi site or department store manager role within fashion, footwear or accessories. Your previous role(s) will have allowed you to build strong relationships with internal parties, allowed you to focus on people management and recognise and solve problems before they arise. You will demonstrate an impressive history of sales growth, display a strong lateral and strategic thinking style and your applied business acumen and computer literacy will be highly distinctive.
