We are an expanding, market-leading gold buying business, and are seeking a Retail Assistant to be part of our exciting and dynamic journey.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION
We are a well-established gold buying business with a reputation for excellence in all facets of customer service and delivery (professionalism, transparency and honesty). We pride ourselves on being the most competitive gold buying business in the Brisbane market, but with a national reach. We have access to the latest technology in order to assess the value of items accurately, without damaging valuable items.

THE POSITION
This position will require you to test materials and calculate payment rates, and as such we need someone with exceptional arithmetic skills. You will be responsible for providing an exceptional experience for all customers, which is part of our company ethos. You will also be very well presented and love interacting with people from all walks of life.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Retail sales experience (ideally with jewellery or other precious metals)
• Confidence with numeracy skills. Strong preference will be given to those with a strong mathematical mind, who can calculate efficiently and discreetly.
• Friendly and outgoing with excellent communication skills
• Great problem solving skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy
• Computer savvy
• Able to work 5 days per week between Monday to Saturday

The successful applicant will be required to provide a current police check and two work references.
