Southbank Apartments are a selection of 63 serviced luxury apartments in the heart of the Southbank precinct.

This position is part of our Housekeeping team and reports to the Housekeeping Manager.

We are looking for a Houseman with public area cleaning and Handyman skills to assist with the following duties:

The key tasks are –

• Delivery of linen to each apartment building
• Distribution of all linen for all the apartments to the Room Attendants
• Public area cleaning such as corridors, balconies and range hoods
• Assisting with the quarterly major cleans
• Small maintenance tasks within the apartments
• Organising contractors for bigger maintenance matters

Skills and experience

• High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail
• Knowledge of chemicals and OHS relating to Housekeeping
• Handyman skills
• Public area cleaning experience
• Experience in handling linen
• Ability to work in a team
• Strong communication skills
• Current Victorian manual driver’s licence
• Flexibility to work Monday to Friday 8am-4pm; some weekends and public holidays if required
