This company is a large organisation based in the northern suburbs, they have had record profits this year and are on track to be a leading player in their field.

Within Australia they pay over 5000 staff in over 100 locations across a variety of agreements using SAP and Kronos. There is a small, specialised payroll department with excellent systems and you could be part of the team. They are based in a suburban location with free parking on site.

Responsibilities include:

• Running a number of payruns during the week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
• Handling queries as they come in and within agreed business SLAs.
• Processing payments via Kronos file uploads.
• Ensuring payments are completed in time for deadlines.
• Ensuring weekly payslips are sent out.
• Calculating pay adjustments.
• Manually checking redundancy and termination payments that come out of the termination module of SAP.
• Provide reporting as requested.

Experience required

• Over 3 years experience in a medium-large payroll environment (greater than 1000 employees)
• A good understanding of the payroll process.
• A good understanding of payroll systems.
• Good team work ability, a high attention to detail and a commitment to excellent customer service.

• Learn more about managing EBAs.
• Learn more about the configuration of SAP.
• Integrate multi-country payrolls out of Australia when they are brought in house.
• Get involved in the STP data quality project ahead of go live for single touch payroll.
• Learn more about Super and be the subject matter expert in the team.

Remuneration and Benefits

• $76,000 per annum.
• Salary sacrifice available on laptop and novated lease.
• Flexibility in hours possible.
• Ability to purchase up to 2 weeks extra annual leave.
