ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Environmental Services Manager, this position will be responsible for leading a team of Environmental Services staff providing support services throughout the hospital on the weekend.

• Permanent Part time 32 hours per fortnight
• Based at Werribee Mercy Hospital
• Performing Patient Services duties such as cleaning/housekeeping, food/beverages, transport and patient support
• Assisting with resource management and monitoring of staff
• Responsible for resource management of equipment.

ABOUT YOU:

• Previous experience in monitoring staff
• Health Services Assistant Certificate III or equivalent or working towards completing
• Current Food Handling certificate
• Excellent customer service skills and have a passion for attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to show initiative and work within a team environment
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to understand Patients’ diet codes
• Commitment to staff development
