The Role

We are seeking and experienced Cleaning Supervisor, for a part time evening role located in the CBD – Melbourne.

Hours - Monday – Friday 17:00 – 22:30

Responsibilities include:

• Any tasks / jobs requested by the venue manager
• Organising cleaner’s keys before and after their shift.
• Making sure all cleaners sign in and out after their allocated shift.
• Report any problems or incidents that may have occurred the night before to the Venue Cleaning Manager.
• Communicating with Venue Manager on a before the cleaners shift starts, to ensure they remain fully informed of all significant daily work issues and to agree that the scheduled routine has been completed
• Inspect 3 floors and follow up with cleaners, sign off inspection reports after completed.
• Report in the communication book and confirm at the end of the cleaners shift that all work requirements are completed.
• Report any problems or hazards to the building manager.
• Ensure all cleaners have signed out and all cleaners’ keys are accounted for.
• Ensure office is locked.
• Daily follow up the periodical cleaning schedule and report the progress

• Insuring that all staff are inducted as required

Skills & Experience:

• Sound understanding of safe chemical use, and OHS in the workplace
• Prior commercial cleaning experience
• Friendly and positive with a 'can do' attitude
• Good verbal & written communication skills
• Good level of computer skills
• Prior experience in rostering and labour management.
