About the Role

An opportunity exists for a highly motivated Diesel Mechanic to join Spotless and work at our high profile client site based in the Kensington area.

In this role, you will enjoy a variety of challenges and your key duties are to:

• Deliver effective and efficient planned and unplanned service, maintenance and repairs to our street sweeping mobile vehicle fleet (Diesel) and other equipment
• Provide a high level of customer service within business goals and objectives
• Actively participate and support an environment of teamwork and excellence in performance
• Ensure that all safety, health, environment and other legal requirements are met

The successful applicant must:

• Have comprehensive experience in maintenance services relating to diesel engines
• Have good mechanical knowledge and previous experience with Street Sweepers
• Demonstrate a pro-active approach to continuous improvement, identifying opportunities
• Be able to demonstrate an awareness of industry OHS&W requirements, as they apply to this environment.
• Have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Be a real team player who is focused on providing the best customer experience
• Have a current drivers licence
• Be self-motivated, show initiative and be able to work unsupervised
• Manage spare parts inventory for fleet and arrange parts ordering where required
• Licence to drive HR/MR vehicles a distinct advantage
