As an importer of a broad range of specialist products within the print industry, this business services a massive customer base through their national network of distribution centres.

With products sourced from across the globe, the business requires a professional who can constantly drive accuracy and efficiency from their various International, National and Local Freight carriers. With a broad inbound model encorporating Sea, Air and Road, this role will reward someone who has experience of driving best rates and cost savings.

As a hybrid opportunity, you will also assist with stock forecasting and planning. With this in mind, you must have had exposure to warehousing and operations as you will be partly responsible for driving efficiencies through their Melbourne facility. You will also be able to show exposure to relevant systems and processes involved in purchasing and stock management. This will include a focus on purchase order processing, uploading confirmed delivery times as well as liasing internally with customer service and sales teams.

Due to the fast paced environment and practical nature of their staff, you will also be expected to get involved in proactive management of stock and controls when required. This dictates that you will have both a current driver and forklift licence. Not too proud to roll up your sleeves, you will also be able to pitch in on the floor to assist with cleanliness and ongoing tool box meetings.

This role offers a remuneration package of around $50,000 plus Super. This may be slightly flexible for an individual who can demonstrate expertise, depth and all of the above requirements.

This position requires an individual who has full working rights for Australia, currently based in Australia.
