As a global fund manager, our client is known for focusing on generating long-term sustainable returns for it's investors. We are now seeking an experienced fund / investment accountant to support the continued growth of this globally renowned Fund Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Role Overview:

As an Investment Accountant, you will primarily be responsible for assisting with the management of products and investments in addition to new product development with the guidance of your manager. Other high value tasks will include the following:

• Preparation of financial statements and reconciliations for board sign-off
• Statutory reporting for compliance
• Unit pricing and associated reconciliations
• Preparation / review of relevant information to unit holders which may include prices, statements and various other ad-hoc requirements

Skills & Experience:

To successfully secure this role, you will have:

• Previous fund / investment accounting experience essential
• Ability to work in a high performing team based environment
• A Tertiary degree in accounting/finance or related field and CA/CPA (or working towards it);
• You will also ideally have a detailed understanding of taxation laws, regulations and governance as it relates to the industry
