Skin Club Cosmetic Doctors in Prahran, is a boutique cosmetic surgery clinic, with a
strong reputation for quality service.
The clinic has a highly passionate and customer-focused ethic that we want someone to build on. We require someone who is committed to providing the great service and looking after each patient, making them feel like they are valued.
The Prahran location is a small studio with a team comprising of one Cosmetic Doctor and
a receptionist.
JOB ROLE:
Maintain front of house operations of the clinic, maintain online records, answer phone calls and emails, update/support our social media channels.
HOURS OF WORK:
Minimum Fridays & Saturdays, 8hr shifts. Scope to increase hours significantly if you like.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As front-of-house Receptionist, you will oversee the daily operations of Reception
Opening the shop and computer systems
Take client phone calls
Manage appointment bookings
Carry out EFTPOS transactions/guide clients through Afterpay
Check product stock levels, and put in orders
Clean the studio rooms, maintaining premises and equipment to regulatory standards for hygiene and safety
Opportunity to get involved in the content management of the Clinic’s website and social media channels
WHAT WE NEED IN A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
Friendly personality
Ability to present in a professional manner, and dress likewise.
Passionate about working in the skin care industry.
Relevant experience in the beauty/cosmetics/medical fields is an advantage.
Diploma or Cert IV in Beauty Therapy or another related qualification such as Make-up
Artistry, would be an advantage
Tech-savvy people with with experience using Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calendar,
Instagram
Ability to work as a team member and work unsupervised
Interest or experience in marketing and social media would be an advantage
Driven, mature, responsible “can-do” attitude.
Excellent spoken and written use of the English language
An Australian permanent resident or citizen
You will be working in a small team – just you and the doctor.
This means that you will need to work independently, and be proactive about getting the daily
duties done as outlined in the manual. Time management and initiative is essential.
Pay:
We will the receptionist as an independent contractor through your ABN.
Taxation and superannuation is to be handled by the employee.
