We require experienced disability support workers to work with a range of families.

We have two current available roles as per below:

1. Point Cook - Tuesday 3.30-7.30pm and Saturday 11am to 2pm. Weekly. Children

2. Derrimut - 7 day a week supports required at varies times. Active overnight shifts and weekend evening services. Adult

The successful person will also be offered other roles with children, youth and adults with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, Down's Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Motor Neurone Disease, ABI's, mental health and MS. Our roles vary, but you would be offered regular hours each week with each role. We currently have demand for weekdays, evenings and weekends.

We are looking for wonderful carers with experience, who can work towards getting to know a variety of clients. You would be using strategies provided by their therapists to increase independence, interacting and achieving goals with each client.

Responsibilities and Duties: All personal care, respite and domestic duties, as well as community access.

Qualifications and Skills: As a minimum you will need to apply for a new Police Check, hold a Working with Children Check and First Aid (or be willing to apply for these). A qualification and experience in disability, individual support or children's services, is highly regarded, and will be minimum requirements for employment from 2018 onward.A car and drivers licence is also necessary.
