Grochem Australia is a privately-owned company, and part of Grochem New Zealand based in Wellington (Porirua). Grochem New Zealand has been operating for 25 years and expanded its business into Australia with the creation of Grochem Australia in 2015. Grochem Australia is now a leading Horticultural supplier to Australian agricultural sector.

This newly created role is critical in supporting the business and our customers which is “key” in ensuring the ongoing growth of the business. This is a fabulous opportunity for the right person.

As part of your duties you will provide exceptional service to customers and internal sales support for sales staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to all the business customers, sales staff and internal stakeholders in a professional, friendly, prompt and helpful manner;
• Expedite customer orders, deliveries, stock control; inventory and transport
• Provide appropriate reports for sales team
• Maintaining CRM data

Duties of Role:

• Order entry, stock allocation (inventory control) and releasing and management of inventory.
• Responding to emails and telephone messages from customers and sales representatives in a timely manner
• Dealing with customer queries re: deliveries, purchase orders, and product availability, transport bookings, backorders etc.
• Liaising with warehouse staff regarding stock delivery
• Producing weekly stock reports
• Answering customer enquiries - returns, orders over the phone or email.

Skill & Attribute Criteria:

• Provide outstanding customer service;
• Time management skills
• Ability to work autonomously
• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner, listen attentively to others and provide instructions;
• Be proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite. (Experience with Cin7 and Zero will be highly regarded).
• A positive "can do" attitude;
• Patient, calm and able to handle complaints and difficult situations effectively;
• Desire to work in a team oriented, growth environment.
