General Motors Financial is expanding into Australia with headquarters based in Port Melbourne. To support the new operations, we are looking for a highly experienced Customer Service Officer to become a foundation member of our exciting new operations.

You will be part of a “greenfield” expansion and will be part of the original “first” influx of new members to General Motors Financial in Australia.

About the Role:

In this role you will report to the Customer Experience Team Leader and work with other specialists within your team. Your role is straightforward but absolute the cornerstone of what keeps the business turning.

Your day to day role encompass::

  • Being the first point of contact for our customer base where you will be charged with providing an exceptional customer experience in a timely manner
  • Providing customers with assistance and resolution of any issues
  • Taking ownership of queries, monitoring, following up, and escalating any unresolved CX complaints as appropriate
  • Being the point of contact for GMF and any Dealers involved areas, for closing the loop to our Brand customers

  • Strong experience in a customer service role with a strong focus on customer experience (CX)
  • Attitude, attitude, and more attitude.
  • Excellent active communication skills
  • A desire and understanding that GM Financial is a greenfield expansion in Australia. So you must have some imagination and genuinely be comfortable with change and new opportunities.
