About the Company and your new role:

Whilst working as an energetic and experienced Customer Service Officer you will work for a statutory corporation within the Victorian Government and provides exceptional service for Victorians on the road. They are currently looking for on-going Customer Service Officer to assist with regular Licence Testing in the Hoppers Crossing office. You will clearly communicate with customers whilst exercising professional judgement in the application of assessment tasks on a daily basis.

Duties:

  • Provide high quality customer service, consistent with company values
  • Ensure legislative requirements and company policy and procedures are applied accurately and consistently
  • Contribute to the integrity of all records through accurate and efficient data processing
  • Provide high level customer service consistent with company values
  • Complete in-car assessments of novice and experienced drivers in accordance with pre-determined criteria
  • Counter based activities both before and after testing
  • Using professional judgement in accordance with pre-determined assessment criteria
  • Providing drivers with feedback at the end of the assessments
  • Respond to and resolve a wide range of customer service enquiries. This will require you to perform over-the-counter registration and licensing transactions in a fast paced and busy environment.

You will need:

  • Previous experience working in Customer Service
  • An ability to work within legislative obligations ensuring that confidentiality and privacy are not compromised
  • To be flexible and adaptable to work in a changing environment
  • Experience in dealing with difficult people in a structured environment
  • Possess a full Victorian drivers licence or equivalent national licence

We are looking for candidates who are flexible to work between 20-38 hours per week and Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 4.30pm. Successful candidates must undergo a National Criminal History check along with a Licence Drivers History Check prior to commencement.
