Transport company in Altona is looking for a person with strong written and verbal communication skills to work as a Customer Service / Client Services Officer in a small but great team environment.

The key aspect of this role is to provide customer service and limited data entry to a highly regarded client base. The successful applicant will be the first point of contact for clients which requires an excellent phone manner and who can demonstrate the ability to effectively resolve customer queries via phone and email correspondence in a prompt and efficient manner.

To succeed in this role you will possess the following:

  • Be a proactive team player who demonstrates the ability to contribute and foster a positive team environment.
  • Previous experience in a customer call centre working environment.
  • Previous experience in Client Services administration / data entry
  • Possess the ability to multi task incoming calls, email dropbox, and constantly be able to prioritise and manage a busy workload.
  • Sound problem solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and accurately whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • An understanding of the Transport and Logistics industry.
