We have an exciting opportunity to work for a multinational leader in the marine supplies industry with over 80 years in business. They are an industry leader with headquarters in the USA who supply and distribute marine engines, propellers, gauges, parts and accessories for boats.

The Role:

They are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service & Administration Coordinator on a 15 month maternity leave contract starting in October.

This role is to handle all after sales customer service communication via phone and email through to warranty, product and service enquiries.

Some of your duties will include however will not be limited to:

  • Resolving product or service problems by clarifying customer complaints and determining the best course of action
  • Development, order & distribution of dealer service promotion, customer service aids and service marketing materials
  • Handle customer inquiries, detail changes & owner manual requests
  • Coordinate customer letter printing and distribution of warranty registration packs
  • Provide admin support for after sales personnel and systems
  • Recording, monitoring and follow-up of customer contact

Key Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • General technical knowledge & experience in automotive or marine industry - highly regarded
  • Competent spelling and grammatical skills required for correspondence
  • Customer handling & negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem solving
  • Ability to multi task, work under pressure & use initiative with confidence
  • Self motivated & able to work unsupervised
  • Able to interact and communicate smoothly and positively with all company personnel
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint or equivalent

What's on Offer?:

  • 15 month maternity leave contract starting mid October
  • Monday to Friday hours (8.30am - 4.30pm)
