We are seeking personnel who can carry out broad aspects of reinforcement, form-work and concreting in the concrete construction sector (onsite concrete worker). We operate in all facets of concrete services; Domestic i.e. (house slabs, driveways, walkways) etc. commercial or contract i.e. (suspended slabs, columns, beams) etc. and Industrial i.e. (machinery footings, factory slabs) etc. Exposure in one of the three facets is recommended. Good work ethic and a desire to learn and excel will allow us to fill in any knowledge gaps. Apart from the above, the position includes working outdoors in a variety of job-sites across the greater metropolitan area (Melbourne and surrounding suburbs and towns).

Responsibilities include

•carrying out as prescribed above portions of the works whether it be with the onsite crew or with appointed team mates. Tasks include

- aid in placing and tie reinforcing

- aid in finishing off concrete or aid in concrete placement by moving and levelling.

- aid in placing of formwork (perimetre slab faces, concrete suspended slab soffits etc).

- stripping, cleaning and loading and unloading of concrete forms and formwork.

- aid in placing of concrete slab sub-bases i.e. leveling sand, crushed rock etc.

The job will be ongoing through Monday to Friday with hours worked between 7.00 am and 3.00 pm. Occasional Saturdays with the extreme rarity of Sundays is to be expected during peak times. Circumstances involving the completion of our scope of works for the overall project by a certain date or within peak times, will require occasional time past 3:00pm. There are no stringent expectations to this criteria however, we would like to see all team members sharing their work responsibilities/loads equally between each other during such times.
