Your new role

As a Collections Officer you will be the company representative, collaborating with businesses and valued customers to educate and consult them about their current situation. You will be monitoring accounts to identify overdue payments, finding and contacting debtors to arrange debt payoffs and keeping accurate records and reporting on collection activity. Other responsibilities will involve educating individuals of the consequences of non-payment and also to recommend appropriate legal action when required.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this position you will prove experience working in Collections. Ideally you will have experience working in a high pressured KPI environment and you must be results orientated. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, well organised with experience managing your own portfolio of clients. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills are essential and you must have strong attention to detail.

What you'll get in return

Full Time position, 6 months fixed term contract Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, rotating roster 8:00 am to 8:00 pm 2 weeks full time training Salary package $48K plus superannuation.
