Our client is a leading provider of industrial and commercial cleaning services of cooling equipment. Based in Hallam they are seeking a Cleaning Technician to complete services throughout Melbourne and country Victoria. This position will commence on a casual basis with a view to a permanent position for the right applicant. Working hours will be Monday to Friday between 6:00am & 6:00pm with the potential for overtime. This position is entry level with the opportunity for future advancement .

Duties will include:

• Using chemicals to disinfect and clean cooling systems
• Use of pressure cleaners
• Working at heights and in confined spaces
• Completion of Service Reports
• Data entry (using an Ipad)
• Responding to customers needs and concerns

Essential criteria:

• Previous experience in industrial commercial or hygiene cleaning (highly regarded)
• EWP and working at height accreditation (advantageous)
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Strong work ethic
• Reliable
• Physically fit with lots of energy (be able to lift 15 to 30 kilograms)
• Have a mechanical aptitude
• Able to work day, afternoon, night shift and weekends
• Have a valid Australian drivers licence.
• Have a strong commitment to working safely and follow established OH & S practices
• Be willing to complete a pre-employment medical as well as drug & alcohol screening
• A can do attitude
