The Cleaning Manager leads and manages a small but agile customer focused team, responsible for delivering professional and highly effective cleaning services to RCH, MCRI, RCH Foundation and other tenants of the RCH facility.

You shall be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of cleaning standards are provided in accordance with the contract(s), Service Specifications, Victorian Public Hospitals cleaning standards and the RCH Infection Control Guidelines. Managing the cleaning budget, rosters and associated payroll issues, monitoring quality, productivity and ensuring contract KPI’s are achieved.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally come to us with:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing a team delivering high quality professional cleaning in a high demand complex environment.
  • Training in the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Experience using commercial or industrial cleaning products and equipment preferred.
