An opportunity exists within the Support Services Department at Maroondah Hospital for passionate and enthusiastic Casual On Call Cleaners.

The role of a Cleaner is to provide a micro biologically safe environment for patient care and to maintain a clean and safe work environment for staff.

Assist in presenting an attractive safe and inviting environment for visitors and members of the general public.

To be successful in the Cleaners role you will have the ability to perform:

Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills and a 'Can do' attitude

An ability to work independently as well as in a team General cleaning service

Exterior cleaning service

Operating Suite cleaning service

Waste recycling

Water Jug distribution 10%

Cleaning /Bed Making duties 90%

Able to prioritise workload and work well under pressure

Able to take direction and comply with Eastern Health and departmental policies/procedures

Able to perform duties in a reliable, observant and courteous manner
