About You

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Cleaner to join our Darvall Lodge team on a casual basis working weekdays and weekends. Darvall Lodge is a 60-bed residence located in Noble Park with a predominately high care facility including a dementia specific area.

Your duties will include:

• General cleaning of resident rooms
• General cleaning of common areas and office spaces within the facility
• Floor Cleaning
• Toilet and Bathroom Cleaning
• Chemical Management
• Adherence to OHS requirements

You should be highly organised and self-motivated, someone who can manage their time and be flexible with their workloads. If you have experience within aged care or in a similar setting, we offer a great team to work with and a supportive working environment.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience ideally within Aged Care or Community Care environment
• Must be flexible and self-motivated with excellent communication skills and a genuine care for older people
• Current valid Police Check and a Valid Australian Working Visa are required prior to employment
• Computer skills and ability to use Microsoft office
• Smart phone and access to home internet required
• Certificate II or more in hospitality is highly desirable

Additionally, you can salary package meals, entertainment and facility hire expenses including holiday accommodation up to a maximum of $2,550 per annum.
