IKON Cleaning Services

We are looking for someone to work Full Time, Monday to Friday on our Morning Shift (6am-2pm) and Casual employees with flexibility to work across morning and afternoon shift (2pm to 10pm).

The Role

You will be responsible for a range of cleaning tasks, working to agreed schedules to deliver a high quality standard of work whilst acting as a Customer Service Ambassador for Melbourne Airport.

Specific responsibilities may include:

• Assisting customers with general enquiries
• Collection, segregation and disposal of waste
• Spot cleaning, including mopping, sweeping etc.
• Toilet, car park, roadway and walkway cleaning
• Responding to ad-hoc cleaning requests (spills etc.)

About you:

• Fluent English and confident communicating with people from diverse backgrounds
• previous experience using ride on machinery and pressures washers will be highly regarded
• Customer service experience, working with and around members of the public
• Able to work autonomously
• Quality driven with a focus on continuous improvement
• Reliable, punctual and well presented
• Commitment to long-term employment
• Current, valid Australian driver's licence will be highly regarded
• Previous experience working at an airport would be beneficial

Candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced security check prior to commencing work onsite. As a result you must be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident. Applicants who have resided overseas for more than 6 months within the last 10 years will be required to provide an overseas police check as part of the application process.
