City Works Maintenance Assistant

Full Time

Band 2 - $53,943 per annum plus superannuation

An opportunity exists in our Operations Department to assist with the maintenance and enhancement of Council’s infrastructures and assets.

Works to be performed will be civil infrastructure maintenance tasks and repairs in accordance with works programs and management systems. Works will include asphalt, pit, concrete and minor civil repairs across roads, signage and drainage areas.

You will have a current Medium Rigid Truck Licence endorsement (manual transmission), experience in roads, signage and drainage maintenance as well as experience in a variety of tools, plant and mechanical equipment.

You will need to provide evidence of your right to work in Australia, and a current Driver Licence. You must also be willing to provide a Pre-Employment Health Declaration and undertake a National Police Record Check.
