ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-time Caretaker to take on the challenges of a new residential development in Malvern East.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations & cleaning of the building.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will report to Senior management to provide an effective and efficient operation of the building and be responsible for;

• Managing day to day operations within the building
• Ensuring a clean & safe environment for all residents and/or guests
• Ensuring common areas are up kept and maintained to a high standard
• Managing move ins and moves outs of the building
• Deal with resident enquiries
• Manage contractors
• Waste management
• Defect reporting

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Applicants must demonstrate the following skills and qualities to be deemed competent for the role;

• Previous experience in similar role
• Time management skills
• Strong care-taking/cleaning skills
• Record management and communication skills
• Ability to listen to residents needs in an empathetic way
• Positive attitude with flexibility to perform varied duties

The role is full time, Monday to Friday with a requirement to manage emergency after hours calls as required.
