About the Employer

Our client is a well established and rapidly growing family owned business located in the outer western suburbs of Melbourne. Established in 1972, they have a longstanding history of being one of Australia’s leading suppliers to the signage and digital print industries.

About the Role

As a highly experienced and driven sales professional your primary role will be to use your proven and tactful solution oriented approach to generate business from new and existing 'low spend' clients in accordance with the company growth strategy. A small proportion of your time (approximately 30%) will also involve account management of existing clients.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Using initiative and drive to identify potential business leads
  • Conducting approximately 25 warm/cold sales calls per week
  • Regular site visits to generate new business from potential clients throughout Melbourne
  • Participation in weekly team meetings, held every Monday at the state of the art head office located in the outer western suburbs of Melbourne
  • Account management for existing clients

To be successful for this role you must have the following:

  • Proven experience selling consumable products in a small/medium business
  • Genuine hunger and drive to generate leads and close solution based sales
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office and CRM skills
  • Outstanding account management and customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Resilient, trustworthy and proactive approach
  • Australian driver licence
  • Signwriting, printing or related industry experience is advantageous
