We currently have an exciting opening for an Accounts Receivable to join a leading health and aged care organisation who is regarded as one of the best in their industry. This opportunity also offers the benefit of being ideally located in the inner suburbs of Melbourne, which is easily accessible via trains and trams. This position will be starting towards the end of October.

This position is one that will have you working as an Accounts Receivable Officer at their Inner Melbourne facility, where they are known for having an excellent team based working culture and environment.

Description

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, your role will include but will not be limited to:

• Raising invoices, allocating payments and receipts

• Weekly maintenance of the debtors ledger

• Providing a high-level of customer service when making collection calls

• Daily reconciliations for all accounts activities

• Creating and handling new customer accounts

• Assisting team leader in delivering and maintaining key KPI’s

• Other ad-hoc duties as required

Profile

The successful applicant will ideally have previous Accounts Receivable in aged/health care industry. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required, as you may be required to make potentially difficult collections calls. A strong background in reconciliations is required as well as a high attention to detail. You will also have the ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Previous exposure to Epicor accounting system would also be considered advantageous.
