We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant for a part time position with my client, a thriving business within the building and construction industry.

Client Details

Only 8 years young, our client are a specialist within the renovation space and to keep up with demands, they are looking to add a new team member into their growing business, someone who can rotate across their 2 different locations within the Eastern suburbs.

Description

Reporting directly to the business owners, you will be responsible for all the basic Accounting functions across both sites which includes but is not limited to:

• Accounts payable and invoice processing
• Collections
• Bank Reconciliations
• Purchase order administration
• Reception coverage and showroom hosting
• Finance reporting
• Ad hoc accounting administration duties

Profile

Having had experience across all facets of accounting, you would have previously been in a similar role and be well versed across MYOB and Microsoft Excel.

While experience specifically in the kitchen and bathroom industry is a huge advantage, someone who has exposure to the building and construction industry will be highly regarded also.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a team/collaborative environment and has exceptional stakeholder management skills.

Job Offer

This is a part-time role, working across 3-4 days with hours dependent on the individual candidate's flexibility. You will be required to work on Saturdays, with your role rotating across 2 different Eastern suburbs locations.
