Arcare Templestowe is a brand new aged care Residence due to open in March 2019! We will be offering permanent and sensitive (dementia) care, catering for 117 clients from a variety of backgrounds; including Italian, Greek and Chinese. Each client will have their own large private suite with individual bathroom and be able to enjoy our on-site boutique café, hairdressing salon, theatre and beautifully manicured courtyards.

ABOUT YOURSELF:

• Have a genuine interest in and respect for the unique personality, history and values of our clients

• Proven experience in the laundry department
• Current police check
• Demonstrated strong customer service ethos and commitment to quality and continuous improvement

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for laundry attendants who are flexible in their thinking and courageous in their actions. A person with compassion and empathy, who understands that attitudes are contagious (and who have one worth sharing).

Successful applicants must have a minimum of 2 years' laundry experience, preferably in an aged care or health care environment. You will also be willing to work between cleaning and laundry departments when required. Successful applicants will possess excellent communication skills, a high level of interpersonal skills, as well as work effectively in a team environment.

In return for your commitment to us and our clients, we will provide you with flexibility, on the job training and excellent employment conditions.

Aged care experience is essential - whilst you require a relevant qualification in nursing, we are also looking for the right people to join us and build personally meaningful relationships with our clients, their families and your colleagues.
