We are looking for a passionate, energetic and ambitious Sous Chef to join our much-loved venue in Kew. A high paced kitchen, you will have a real thirst for delivering excellence every time and be on the path to becoming our next Head Chef.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work in conjunction with the Head Chef to lead the operation of our kitchen at Kew
  • Support in leading, mentoring and developing the team while running various sections during service
  • Assume total responsibility of service in the absence of the head chef
  • Be an example of excellence in the kitchen for those around to follow
  • Engage in a positive and collaborative manner with the FOH teams to ensure outstanding food experiences for our customers
  • Be involved in the creative process of daily special options with the Head Chef
  • Support on ensuring COGS and key performance metrics are met in the kitchen
  • Have a desire to be the next head chef for our group

Not only will you be passionate about food, but also you will thrive on working within a cohesive team to deliver a great food experience to our customers. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Junior Sous Chef who is on the path to running their own kitchen. You will also possess:

  • Dedicated experience leading teams in a Sous Chef capacity
  • Have worked in high quality kitchens delivering outstanding food experiences
  • Proven ability to work in a high pressure & fast turnover environment
  • Understand the working of a high standard kitchen with uncompromising quality requirements
  • A proven leader who has an approachable and engaging communication style
  • Ability to partner effectively with the FOH teams
