G Plus Coffee is a specialty coffee shop and restaurant in Cheltenham Victoria. We use the highest quality beans and milk to create the finest specialty coffee in the area. In addition to our specialty coffee, we also serve tasty, creative and beautifully presented dishes for breakfast and lunch.

About the role

We are currently looking for an experienced chef to join our Cheltenham store. You will be responsible for designing seasonal menus; preparing ingredients; cooking meals; assembling dishes; and maintaining a clean kitchen environment, etc... You need to be creative and understand the art of how to present every dish beautifully. You will also be responsible for training kitchen staff to assist your daily kitchen operation.

Skills and experience

You must have:

at least 3 years' commercial experience as a chef;

past experience working as head chef / sous chef with other café serving breakfast and lunch would be a plus;

excellent communication and leadership skills to look after kitchen operations and train kitchen staff

reliable, enthusiastic, well organised and play well in a team environment

able to work on both weekdays and weekends.
