Head Chef

The well established modern cafe has a reputation that is second to none within the Melbourne cafe scene and has been busy from day one that is led with genuine hospitality and fun values. Currently they are looking for a Head Chef that has a solid background in venues that are well know for their modern food and funky vibes to drive the seasonal menu development and treat the business as if it was their own.

The role will entail;

• Leading and developing the team to deliver exceptional results.
• Creation of seasonal menus that reflect the style of the venue.
• Ensuring the profitability of the offer utilising advanced knowledge of COG's, labour and yield management.
• Supplier negotiations to ensure the best seasonal products are available.
• Build a culture of high performance in the venue.

• Passionate in the delivery of seasonal menus and able to train the team.
