About the role

Working on prestigious education contract in the inner city suburbs you will oversee the day to day running of the catering operation onsite along with the delivery of full calendar of varied functions/events. Leading the sizable kitchen team you will be producing and presenting food that meet the client’s high standards ensuring innovation and leading edge menu design. You will lead, develop and motivate your team, ensuring a positive safety culture, a focus on creativity and improvements and maintaining excellence in food and service standards and high level of customer satisfaction.

About You

Coming from a high pressure catering environment, you will have experience in food and labour cost control, menu design and planning. Your leadership style will be focused on leading by example, empowerment and upskilling to ensure a highly motivated and highly trained team. You will enjoy the challenges of running a busy kitchen including day to day catering and a full functions/events calendar. Excellent time management and organisational skills are a must to keep all of these balls in the air.
