We have a great opportunity for a passionate chef to revamp our menu and create enticing meals for our guests. Our venue has a large commercial kitchen servicing multiple function rooms. We host a range of events, from weddings and other social events, to corporate seminars

The role will include:

-stock control and ordering

-redesigning our menu

-preparing, cooking and presenting food for functions

-maintaining compliance with food safety requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

-be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

-have previous experience in being a chef for a large, fast paced venue

-be able to work well under pressure

-be passionate about food and have strong attention to detail

-deliver food of the highest level for quality and presentation

The position is:

-full time

-based in the western suburbs of Melbourne, close to the CBD

-salary is dependent on experience
