Executive Chef
to lead our kitchen team.

Reporting to the General Manager you will have the experience and ability to assume full responsibility for the smooth running of all kitchen operations. A hands-on team player, you will oversee the delivery of high quality product and service including dining, conferences, events and room service.

Previous experience in an a la carte and functions environment is essential. You’ll be diligent and adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements & will have an understanding of HACCP management.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a confident, modern and creative cooking style with a strong emphasis on quality and presentation;
• Be able to design banquet menus from private dinners to business style dinners and an interesting and wide selection of day conference packages;
• Deliver consistent, high quality food while maintaining set food cost;
• Be a hands on leader with exceptional management skills;
• Have great communication skills and ability to develop a motivated cohesive brigade;
• Maintain a close relationship with the Food and Beverage Operations to ensure smooth daily operations and cost control;
• Have cost and stock control experience;
• Have excellent planning and organisational skills;
