About the Job
You will be working on a prestigious education site in South Yarra supporting the Head Chef in the smooth running of the operations on site. With a focus on high quality food production and presentation, you will be involved in cooking a range of food including boarding house meals, daily food offerings in the onsite canteens (sandwiches, salads etc) as well as high end functions. What great variety that presents a talented cook! With the opportunity to learn and develop, you will enjoy working in a cohesive, high performing team. The shifts will be offered during the day – M-F with an early shift or later shift on offer (let us know your preference.) We also have part time weekend shifts available.

About You
High standards of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness is a must. Experience in a fast paced environment working as part of a team is necessary given the hands on nature of this role and wide variety of tasks needing to be completed each day and with the highest level of customer service.

You will have Cert III in Hospitality and already hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children check, in addition to completing the on boarding process for Sodexo which includes a medical, police clearance and on line learning. Furthermore given your experience in a similar role you MUST hold a Food Safety Supervisor certificate/Food Handling Certificate.
