Workplace Location

Set in Melbourne’s northern suburbs within close proximity to public transport, Regis Macleod is a 77 bed facility that provides Aged Care in a welcoming community. Like all Regis facilities, Regis Macleod deliveries ageing-in-place, respite care and dementia care.

About the role

We are currently looking for an experienced Cleaner & Laundry Assistant to join the team at our Macleod facility. This role will assist the facility in maintaining the highest possible standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the residence with a strong focus on minimising health risks and maximising safety.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure all laundry requirements are met each shift
• Always interact with the residents in friendly, helpful and positive manner
• Ensure the facility is clean to high standards

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a laundry capacity/commercial laundry
• Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, health care or Aged Care environment
• Solid knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling, storage and disposal of chemicals
• Previous experience working with and using cleaning equipment
• Clear communication skills both written and verbally
