• There is always something happening as our cafe offers a 7 day a week breakfast, lunch and specialty coffee menu with our cooking school generally operating several sessions a week when our café is closed.

About you:

• You are also a unique person with a passion for great food and local produce.
• Your enthusiasm and creativity will help us continue to forge into the Inner West foodie scene by setting and maintaining an on-trend menu.
• You have at least 4 years culinary experience in a similar café setting, are able to lead the operation of our kitchen and inspire a small team.
• You take great pride in the quality and presentation of your food.
• You are experienced with menu costings, minimising wastage and maximising gross profit.
• Your record keeping, cleanliness and food safety standards are top notch.
• You are organised and able take control of ordering and maintenance of stock.
• Your excellent communication skills allow you to connect with staff and customers alike to deliver quality food and service at all times.
• You love your craft and you want a position where it is appreciated.
