Bistrot d'Orsay is located at the Paris end of Collins St, and is currently looking for a Chef de Partie We are a busy 50 seat restaurant cooking French/Mederteranean Cuisine, with all food being made on premises with premium quality produce, from stocks and sauces to puff pastry and desserts.
This role will be working with 4 other chefs, and 2 kitchen hands working a 5 day week of around 40-50 hours with 2 days off, d'Orsay is open from Monday to Saturday with 3 shifts which are 7am-3pm, or 10am-close and 2 double shifts from 10am to close with a break, working with good conditions within this well established business.
The successful applicant will need to have had experience preferably qualified with similar cuisine and have worked on Larder,Pans and Grill, work well with a small brigade and have a passion for food. The working environment within d'Orsay is one of unity and liaison with front and back of house, in a friendly environment.
Bistrot d'Orsay has been in operation for 22 years under the same management, this is an ideal position for somebody to grow within a team and have input into our systems,menu,food design and operation within a busy well established restaurant.
