Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) hosts more than 1000 events each year and is internationally renowned for its award-winning food and beverage, technology and event spaces and is about to enter an exciting culinary development stage.

We are looking for a talented and creative Chef de Cuisine who will provide strategic leadership in developing culinary concepts for both MCEC’s Goldfields Restaurant and our many events.

This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with senior culinary Managers and team members to develop, research and prepare concepts and recipes while supporting the day to day operations of the Culinary department.

You must have a strong understanding of flavors and textures and the diversity to work with many styles of cuisine. Your artistic vision, culinary flair and passion for food will assist you in developing innovative menus while challenging convention.

You will be career focused and have a strong desire to continually improve your own culinary skills while staying in touch with current food and industry trends.
