About the company and role

A popular bayside venue is looking for a talented Chef to drive performance to the next level whilst growing within the group.

The location is an ideal spot if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing day with a view.

The food and beverage offering is recent months has played a massive part in the venue seeing an influx of returning customers and guest satisfaction.

Working closely with the Head Chef, you'll get the support you need to be successful in your role whilst driving kitchen standards and give yourself the platform required to step up in to a senior role in the near future.

  • Rotating roster - mix between days and evenings, must be available to work weekends

Skills & experience

  • Experience as a Junior Sous Chef or Snr Chef de Partie in a casual dining, gastro pub or a la carte restaurant is essential
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Possess an advanced understanding of HACCP food safety standards
  • Experience mentoring Apprentices, Commis or Demi Chefs
  • Commercial cookery accreditation at certificate III level or high, or apprenticeship training
